Wow-pvp-wat range dps to roll?

i do a little arena but barely. i more do bgs/world pvp. i decided i definitly want to do range over mele. after a while i kinda realized having to cast all the time is a weakness. so i narrowed down to like lock and hunter. kinda mage. but i like bieng at least somewhat durable. so i came down to hunter since their pretty durable and can shoot on the move. little casting usually. but people have been teling me hunter is so so now? so now idk what to roll. i originally did resto druid for pvp so it bugs me to be too soft. but i know my main role will be dps haha any recomendations to chek out? i mean im open to range that have to cast for wtvr but just wanst sure. definitly not doing moonkin tho.
