Richard Nixon favored Universal Healthcare for all Americans, do Republicans think of him as a Marxist?

Romney pushed his through in MA, and Obama modeled his off Romney's almost word for word, but they like Romney's and not Obama's. I guess its the person they don't like not the actual Bill.
