Can the Texas DPS find out or track this?

Well Im turning 16 in.. 11 days from today.. And I've been waiting a month and a half to get my Parent taught driving paper that I have to hold for 14 days.. The Dps lost me in the system they said when I called today, but they "found" it and said they'd make sure it's sent today.. so figuring I get the paper with-in the next 11 days.. Can I tell the DPS people when I go to get my license that I've had it for 14 days? Or if they ask can I tell them That I've been recording all my times on sheets of paper and then Just copied them over? Thanks for any answers
